Conference on Translation Studies and Translation Teaching Methods

Call for participation.

We are pleased to invite everyone interested to participate in the International IX Scientific Conference “Relevant Issues of Translation Studies and Translation Teaching Methods” to be held on April 20-21, 2017.

The conference is expected to be held with the participation of international specialists.

Conference focus areas:

  • Historical and cultural translation studies.
  • Cognitive and discursive, psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic principles of translation.
  • Lexical and semantic, grammatical and pragmatic aspects of translation.
  • Translation as a means of intercultural communication.
  • Theoretical and practical issues of literary and field-specific translation.
  • Translation teaching methodology.

Conference working languages: Ukrainian, English, French, German, Russian.

Materials submission deadline: March 20, 2017.
