We invite you to participate
We have the honor to invite you to participate in the VIII International Scientific Forum "Contemporary German Studies: Scientific Discussions" which will be held at the School of Foreign Languages of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University on October 23, 2018.
The event is organized by: the Department of English Philology, the Department of German Philology and Translation.
Working languages of the Forum: Ukrainian, English, German, French, other European languages.
The timeline set in the Forum program for a report at the plenary session is up to 20 minutes, at the discussion round table – up to 10 minutes, for discussion – up to 5 min. By the beginning of the Forum a collection of abstracts will be published. An electronic version of the collection of abstracts will be posted on the website of the School of Foreign Languages
Discussion round tables will cover the following issues:
№ 1: English language status in the modern communicative space
№ 2: The status of the German language in the modern communicative space
№ 3: Typology of discourses
No. 4: Cognitive and Conceptual Aspects of Language and Speech
№ 5: Problems of communicative linguistics
№ 6: Modern linguodidactical studies
№ 7: Actual questions of research of language units in the modern paradigm of knowledge
№ 8: Actual issues of foreign literature
No. 9: Germanism in Humanitarian Studies
№ 10: Foreign language in the study of students.
Theses of reports, information about the author in the form of participation application and scanned receipts for postal transfer of the amount of the registration fee are to be sent to the organizing committee of the Forum not later than September 15, 2018.
Registration of participants will take place on October 23, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:30 at the address: Kharkov, Freedom Square, 4, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, School of Foreign Languages, room 7-75. Directions: from the railway station to the metro station "University".
