All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Issues of Oriental Studies in Ukraine"

We invite you to participate

We invite teachers, scholars, graduate students who teach and conduct research in Oriental philology, history, politics, economics, culture of the East, students, as well as representatives of embassies and consulates, all interested persons to participate in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "ISSUES OF ORIENTAL STUDIES IN UKRAINE", which will be held on March 28 ­­– 29, 2019 in Kharkiv on the basis of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

The work of the following sections is planned:

On the basis of the Department of Oriental Languages of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University:

Education and upbringing in the countries of the East;

Methods of teaching oriental disciplines;

On the basis of the Department of World History of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University:

The history of the East: problems of theory and practice;

Economy, politics, socium of the Eastern countries

On the basis of the Department of Oriental Languages and Intercultural Communication of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University:

Linguistics, translation studies and literary studies of the countries of the East;

Philosophy and culture of the countries of the East.

Also, participants of the conference are welcome to attend master classes, a city tour and a visit to theme exhibitions.

Theses of the reports, application for participation and scanned receipts for the postal transfer of the registration fee should be sent to the organizing committee no later than March 1, 2019.

Abstracts will be published in a separate collection in electronic format (CD-ROM) and on the site http://foreign-languages.karazin.ua with the assignment of UDC and LBC before the beginning of the conference, and, at the request of the authors, can be published in university collections of scientific works of VAK of Ukraine.
