The workshop was held by the world-class testologists Anthony Green and Christine Coombe.
The faculty members of the Department of English Language, namely the Head of the Department of English Language, Olha Polotska, associate professors Iryna Tkalia, Hanna Husieva, Nataliia Stupnytska, and senior lecturer Olha Matviichuk participated in the workshop ‘Promoting Fair Assessment Practices in University Classrooms of Ukraine’ that took place in Kyiv on September 10-13, 2016 and was held in cooperation with Taras Shevchenko National University, the European Association for Language Testing and Assessment, and the All-Ukrainian Association for Language Testing and Assessment.
The workshop was conducted by the leading world-class testologists Anthony Green (Great Britain) and Christine Coombe (USA), who shared relevant information on the standards of and modern tendencies in language testing.
This experience is extremely useful for our University, considering the need to introduce innovative technologies in the process of language assessment.
