Full Professor of the Department of English Philology Participates in Symposium at the University of Amsterdam

The conference brought together more than 100 experts in cognitive semiotics, cognitive psychology and cerebrophysiology.


The Full Professor of the Department of English Philology, Doctor of Philology Yevheniia Bondarenko participated in the symposium Abstract Concepts: Structure, Processing and Modeling that took place in the University of Amsterdam on November 18, 2016.

The conference brought together more than 100 experts in cognitive semiotics, cognitive psychology and cerebrophysiology.

The format of the symposium provided for eight reports made by the leading specialists from Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Canada and the USA. Each of them has state awards for scientific work, experience in managing international scientific projects, and publications in international peer-reviewed professional journals.

The topic of Yevheniia Bondarenko’s presentation was her monograph devoted to time modeling presented in poetic and philosophical worldview embodied in the English language of the VII-XX centuries (“Time domain matrix modeling in cognitive linguistic research”).
