Teaching Methods Workshop on Teaching Consecutive Interpretation

On February 21, 2017, the School of Foreign Languages held the teaching methods workshop on the peculiarities of teaching consecutive interpretation. The workshop was conducted by the Associate Professor of the Department of English Translation Theory and Practice, Kamilla Voronina.

The speaker acquainted those present with the skills and abilities to be developed in future interpreters and with the system of exercises used for this development, using as an illustrative example one of the books of the Dictum Factum series, namely the international organizations translation course authored by Professor Oleksandr Rebrii.

The presentation sparkled no small interest and a lively discussion as to possible ways of putting the outlined methods into practice.
