The conference proceedings came out in the compendium of abstracts of the reports.
On February 25, 2017, the Department of Business Foreign Language and Translation of Karazin University held the ІV All-Ukrainian Research-to-Practice Student Conference Foreign Languages in the World Economic and Legal Space.
The participants of the conference were 91 students of the School of Economics, the School of Law, as well as the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business. They prepared English reports and articles, which were included in the compendium of the student works.
During the plenary meeting, the participants presented their English presentations on the current issues in the field of travel business, economic and legal life of the country and the world.
In their reports, the students particularly touched upon corruption and the means of fighting it, the peculiarities of extradition in the Ukrainian legislation, creating a politician’s image, innovation activity in the USA, etc.
The guest of the conference, manager of foreign economic activity of a Kharkiv leading company, Karazin University alumna,Yuliia Yevlanova, stressed the importance of mastering foreign languages for organic functioning in the professional sphere and shared her practical considerations for working in international management.
All the participants of the conference received certificates of participation. The conference proceedings came out in the compendium of the student reports “Foreign Languages in the World Economic and Legal Space”
