Italian Lecture “Both Known and Unknown: How it So Happened that Galileo Galilei Never Said: “And Yet It Moves!”

Karazin University has held the public lecture “Both Known and Unknown: How it So Happened that Galileo Galilei Never Said: “And Yet It Moves!”” organized on the initiative of the Department of Romance Philology and Translation of the School of Foreign Languages and the Ukrainian-Italian Academic Center.

The lecture was given by Rosangela Libertini, the associate professor of Italian at the Department of Foreign Languages of the School of Education of Catholic University in Ruzomberok (Slovakia).

The event was conducted in Italian with interpretation provided.

In February 2017, another joint successful project of the Department of Romance Philology and Translation of the School of Foreign Languages and the Ukrainian-Italian Academic Center was a public lecture “Italian Language in Cinematograph” given by the Full Professor of Italian Linguistics from Gabriele D’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara, Antonio Sorella.
