International Student Panel Discussion “The Importance of Being Rich in the Modern World”: Summing-Up

Congratulations to the winning team on their successful presentation of the University at the English international student panel discussion “The Importance of Being Rich in the Modern World”.

On April 5, 2013 a group of our students that included representatives of the School of Sociology (Oleksandr Lebediev, Bohdan Dykan, Valentyna Kyselova), the School of Ecology (Volodymyr Martych), and the School of Physics and Energy (Roman Palchykov) visited Belgorod where they participated in the English international student panel discussion “The Importance of Being Rich in the Modern World”. Each team presented their project, each presentation followed by a discussion and various competitive tasks. Besides Kharkiv teams, the conference attracted students from Moscow, Tula and Belgorod.

By the results of the panel discussion our team won the second place and its members were awarded diplomas and presents. The event once again proved the necessity to conduct international meetings to improve intercultural relations between students of different countries.
