Guidelines for Students

Describing the peculiarities of the educational process organization at the University.


Karazin University has published the Guidelines for Students on the peculiarities of the educational process organization at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

The document consists of six sections: Academics, Key Terms and Definitions, Housing and Living Conditions, Extracurricular Agenda, University's Student Organizations, Scholarships, Student Documents, and answers frequently asked questions about studying at Karazin University. In particular, the Guidelines outline the students’ rights and responsibilities, the scope of competency of the academic group monitor, the procedure for taking exams and getting assessed, the possibility of making changes to the individual curriculum, the procedure for awarding academic scholarships, the peculiarities of getting accommodated and drawing up a subsidy.

The document also outlines the advantages of membership in the University Trade Union Organization and the directions in the student self-government's activity. There is a separate group of questions addressing the opportunities of participation in international academic programs and for creative potential development and going in for sports.
