Celebrating Day of the School of Foreign Languages

On April 11, 2013 there was held solemn celebration of Day of the School of Foreign Languages.

The School of Foreign Languages hosted festivities to celebrate its 83^rd Anniversary and to mark the occasion there was a gala concert held at the Assembly Hall of the University.

The audience was welcomed by Professor V. H. Pasynok (Dean of the School of Foreign Languages) and Associate Deans, Associate Professors P. T. Guseva and S. H. Mashchenko who congratulated everyone on the occasion.

The concert agenda included greetings from the world champions in aesthetic gymnastics Alcor Team, students from the School of Economics and the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business, Afro-American band Alfa-Alfa, a trio La Brunette, a choir of students from the School of Medicine and many others.

This year winner of the beauty pageant Miss University-2013 Olena Zinchenko presented the audience with a passionate tango.

The concert agenda had a lot of dancing, theatrical and vocal performances given by both students and faculty members of the School of Foreign. Moreover, the solemn part was followed by the festivities continued at the Radmir Club.

Summing up, one can say that this year’s Day of the School of Foreign Languages was spectacular and definitely a success.
