Contest of Creative Works in Foreign Languages ASPIRATION and DEUTSCH KREATIV

We are pleased to invite 9-11th graders of secondary educational institutions to participate in the University contest of creative works in foreign languages.

The School of Foreign Languages is pleased to invite 9-11th graders to participate in the contest of creative works in the English and French languages ASPIRATION and the German language DEUTSCH KREATIV.

Contest organizers: Department of English Language, Department of German and French Languages, International Educational Center Pearson-Dinternal.

Topics for contest compositions:

English

  1. Сompare and contrast your way of life with that of your parents or grandparents. Which way of life would be more adaptable to future generations?
  2. Not all learning processes take place in the classroom. In your opinion, which source is more important: knowledge gained out of class or knowledge gained from classroom instructions?
  3. Сomputers are gaining wider and wider wage in education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom. Do you agree or disagree?
German
  1. Nutzer mit 500 "Freunden" auf Facebook sind mittlerweile keine Seltenheit mehr. Manche denken sogar, dass dievirtuellen Kontaktereale Freundschaftenersetzen können. Und was meinst du?Sind soziale Netzwerke für dich netter Zeitvertreib oder zweite Familie?
  2. Wie stehst du zu E-Books? Sind E-Books die Zukunft oder einfach nur doof, weil man sie nicht ins Regal stellen kann?
  3. Stell dir vor: Du hast die Möglichkeit eine prominente Persönlichkeit Deutschlands, Österreichs oder der Schweiz zu interviewen. Wer könnte das sein? Warum gerade diese Person? Welche Fragen würdest du an die stellen?
French
  1. Compare ton mode de vie et celui de tes parents ou tes grands-parents. Quel mode de vie serait plus adapté aux générations à venir?
  2. On n’apprend pas tout en classe. A ton avis, quelle source est plus importante: les connaissances reçues en dehors de la classe ou celles reçues à l’école?
  3. L’ordinateur devient de plus en plus utilisé au cours de l’éducation, bientôt on n’aura plus besoin de professeur en classe. Etes-vous d’accordou non?
Participation in the contest is free of charge. The winners will be awarded certificates and prizes!

Submission deadline: December 1, 2014.

Requirements:

  • the composition is to be 200-250 words;
  • the compositions are to be emailed to the corresponding departments before December 1, 2014;
  • the compositions are to be literate, coherent, logically structured and original.
