"New Approaches to Teaching Foreign Languages: Improving Education Quality – Way to Forming Intellectual Capital"

Call for papers. School-seminar “New Approaches to Teaching Foreign Languages: Improving Education Quality – Way to Forming Intellectual Capital”.


The Department of German and French Languages is pleased to invite foreign language teachers and lecturers of higher educational institutions of Kharkiv to participate in the meeting of the school-seminar “New Approaches to Teaching Foreign Languages: Improving Education Quality – Way to Forming Intellectual Capital” to be held on November 22, 2013.

The seminar begins at 13:00 (registration at room 8-29).

Deadline for submitting applications and materials: November 1, 2013 (room 8-29).

The results of the school-seminar work are going to be published in a compendium of materials.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines:

  • materials should be submitted on a disc and in hard copy.
  • the centered title of the publication must be in bold type and in upper case (font size 14); the author(s)’s last name(s) and initials must appear under the title in regular letters followed by the name of the educational institution on the line below.
  • article size^ 3-7 pages;
  • the manuscript body must be typed in Times New Roman font size 14 using line spacing of 1.5; left, top and bottom margins must be 2.5 cm, right margins must be 1 cm
  • pages are not numbered (signed by the author and paginated in pencil on the back of the hard copies);
  • information about the author (full name, institution, contact telephone number) should be attached in a separate file and in hard copy;
  • the list of references and literature must be drawn up in accordance with the standards of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine and given in the order of citation.

Registration fee: UA 40 (covers publication of programs and compendia of abstracts, delivery of calls for papers and invitations).
