Student Conference in Philology

Call for participation in the International Student Scientific Conference "Karazin Readings: Foreign Philology. Searching for the Young".

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the XIII International Student Scientific Conference "Karazin Readings: Foreign Philology. Searching for the Young" to be heldat the School of Foreign Languages of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University on April 18, 2014.

The conference will address the following matters:

  1. Language as a functional system in the anthropocentric worldview;
  2. Translation and intercultural communication;
  3. Problems of discourse;
  4. Methodological principles of teaching foreign languages;
  5. System of language, semantics and pragmatics;
  6. Issues of stylistics and text linguistics.
Conference languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English, French, German.

Applications for participation are accepted till March 25, 2014.

During your registration you can also submit articles/abstracts of reports for publication in thecompendia "In Statu Nascendi", "Actual Problems of Modern Linguistics and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages", "Young Professionals - Future of Science".
