We invite you to participate in to the V International Scientific Jubilee Forum "Modern Anglistics and Romance Philology: the first mark of the new millennium" to be held at the School of Foreign Languages on September 18, 2013.

Forum organizers: Department of English Philology and the Department of Romance Philology and Translation of the School of Foreign Languages, Department of History of Foreign Literature and Classical Philology of the School of Philology.

Topics of the forum:

  • The typology of discourse.
  • Current issues of pragmatics and discourse analysis.
  • Cognitive and conceptual aspects of language and speech.
  • Cognitive models of concepts in the English-speaking world.
  • Functional aspects of communicative stylistics.
  • Modern linguodidactic research.
  • Current issues of morphology, syntax and semantics in the modern paradigm of knowledge.
  • Current issues of Foreign Literature and Classical Philology.
  • Current issues of romance philology: linguistic and linguodidactic aspects.

Submission deadline: till May 1, 2013.

Working languages of the forum: Ukrainian, Russian, English, French and other Western languages.
