New Production of Victor Hugo’s novel Les Miserables
We are pleased to invite you to a new production of theLes Miserables musical inspired by Victor Hugo’s novel Les Miserables and brought to life by students and faculty members as a way of celebrating Day of the School of Foreign Languages to take place at Karazin University on April 22, 2014.
Les Miserables is a story of broken hopes, unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption. The events unfold in France in the ХІХ century.
The topics Victor Hugo’s novel touches upon are relevant at all times: all-conquering love between young man and girl, father and daughter, mother’s love for her child, love of the Motherland and its people, love of God, fight for freedom and happiness as well as bone-deep life-long faith.
