Contest for the Best German-Ukrainian/Russian Translation

Students with non-germanic majors are welcome to participate.

On April 24, 2014, the Department of German and French Languages of Karazin University is holding a Contest for the Best German-Ukrainian/Russian Translation among students of higher educational institutions of Kharkiv with non-germanic majors.

Beginning: at 13:15

Venue: room 8-29, University Main Building.

The text for translation is given socio-political in nature and devoted to the issues of today. Volume: 2000 characters. Time: 2 academic hours. Using a dictionary is allowed. The evaluation criteria are based on the translation of grammatical elements, lexical units, the ability to adequately, stylistically correctly convey the meaning of the text.

We are pleased to invite colleagues from other higher educational institutions to participate in the work of the Contest Committee on evaluation of the translations.
