The Osvita.ua has drawn a consolidated ranking of universities of Ukraine.
The Osvita.ua information resource has drawn a consolidated ranking of higher educational universities of Ukraine of the III and IV accreditation levels. The ranking covers 292 participating educational institutions.
By the ranking results, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic University” share the second place. In the two subcategories of the ranking that include the TOP-10 institutions from the ones ranking highest in the main list, Karazin University holds the second place among the classical universities and the first place among higher educational institutions of the eastern region of Ukraine.
The Osvita.ua used the data from the national and international rankings that are the most authoritative among experts and media, namely: TOP-20 Ukraine whose methodology is based on the Shanghai Jiao Tong University TOP—500 ranking system adapted to the Ukrainian higher education system; the Scopus taking into account the number of scientists’ publications and their citations; the Webometrics analyzing the scope of the presence of the university’s activities in the Internet. By the recent data from the aforementioned rankings, Karazin University is among the TOP-3 higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
