chool’s students Iryna Bilenko and Iryna Krushynska win a two-week trip to France.
On March 20, 2015 the School of Foreign Languages hosted an inter-university creative marathon organized by the French Alliance in Kharkiv under the aegis of the Embassy of France in Ukraine.
Students of four universities (S. Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Yaroslav the Wise Kharkiv National Law University, H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University) took active part in discussing freedom of speech, writing poetry and prose, singing, creating pictures and theater improvisations in French.
The marathon was vividly conducted by Guillaume Martin, the Director of the French Alliance in Kharkiv, and trainee lecturer Mehdi Shergi who has been helping students of Karazin University for two years to master French supported by lecturers of French at Kharkiv higher educational institutions.
The event ended with the announcement of the winners of the creative contest of videos themed Freedom of Speech: Dangerous or In Danger. The first place was awarded to students of the School of Foreign Languages Iryna Bilenko (group YaE-34) and Iryna Krushynska (group YaYa-21) whose prize is a two-week trip to France from the Embassy of France in Ukraine.
