Competition in Badminton and Individual Championship in Epee Fencing Among Girls

Students of the School of Foreign Languages among the winners.

On April 21, 2015, within the frameworks of the 65th Student Athletic Games, Karazin University held the competition in badminton, and the individual championship of the University in epee fencing among girls.

The teams of 14 University’s Schools competed in badminton. The students of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business, Yelizaveta Koniaievai and Olha Chala, came victorious. The representatives of the School of Medicine, Lolita Horobets andKateryna Yeskova, won the second place, and the students of the School of Biology,Kateryna Sharun and Victoriia Koskova, took the third place.

In the University’s individual championship in epee fencing the student of the School of Foreign Languages, Iryna Lemiakina, became the winner, the representative of the School of Sociology, Daria Lysovenko, took the second place, while the student of the School of Foreign Languages, Tamara Dragina, and the student of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business, Karyna Kandelina, shared the third place.
