XI Interuniversity Student Competition for the Best Translation from German

Winners Announced

On April 28, 2015, on the initiative of the Department of of German and French Languages, Karazin University held the XI Interuniversity student competition for the best translation from German engaging 23 students of higher educational institutions of Kharkiv.

The winners are:

Best Literary Translation

  • I place — Leonid Prokopets (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, School of Foreign Languages, Part-Time Education);
  • II place — Pavlo Khomchenko (National Technical University Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute);
  • III place — Dmytro Osadchyi (National Technical University Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute).

Best Literary Word Master nomination

  • I place — Anastasiia Yeremenko (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, School of Philology);
  • II place — Oleksandr Zhulin (National Technical University Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute);
  • III place — Karyna Chorna (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, School of Philology).

Best German Grammar Expert nomination

  • I place — Nazar Stetsyshyn (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business);
  • II place — Dmytro Shymkiv (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, School of Physics);
  • III place — Anastasiia Manets (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, School of Philology).
