Workshop on Use of Role-Playing Games in Foreign Language Classrooms

The Department of English Language conducts the workshop as a supporting department of the School of Foreign Languages.

On April 28, 2016, the Department of English Language held the workshop “Use of Role-Playing Games in Foreign Language Classrooms” conducted by the senior lecturer Nataliia Lieshnova.

The workshop was conducted within the framework of the activities of the Department of English Language as a supporting department of the School of Foreign Languages.

The workshop participants and attendees were faculty members of the School of Foreign Languages and guests from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (NTU “KhPI”), Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, Kharkiv National University of Automobile and Highway, Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Kharkiv National University of Banking, Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy of Ukraine, О. М. Beketov Kharkiv National Academy of Municipal Economy, the National Academy of Public Administration under the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The purpose of the workshop was to acquaint the faculty with the methodology of role-playing in groups at the schools of higher educational institutions where the foreign language is not a major.
