II International Students Conference entitled "Academic and Scientific Challenges in Diverse Fields of Knowledge in the 21st Century"

The School of Foreign Languages held II International Students Conference entitled "Academic and Scientific Challenges in Diverse Fields of Knowledge in the 21st Century".

On March1, 2013, the Department of the English Language of the School of Foreign Languages held II International Students Conference entitled "Academic and Scientific Challenges in Diverse Fields of Knowledge in the 21st Century". This year's conference brought together132 participants from11 higher educational institutions of the seven cities of Ukraine and Russia.

The conference program included 4 sections, working in the following areas:

  • Humanities (Supervisors: PhD in Philology, Associate Professor V. Serdiuk, lecturer O. Skryl).
  • Humanities (Supervisors: PhD in Philology, Associate Professor I. Tkalia, senior lecturer A. Husieva).
  • Natural sciences (Supervisors: senior lecturer N. Cherkashyna, lecturer Ye. Beliaieva).
  • Exact sciences (Supervisors: senior lecturer Yu. Orach, senior lecturer N. Leshniova).

The results of the conference were presented in the form of student research papers published in compendiums in the fields of their respective subjects.

High professional level of students' reports is worth noting. Almost all the students gave presentations, resulting in 38 speakers in total. The winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.
