III Student Scientific Conference Entitled "Bachelors' Readings: Section of German Language": Summing up

The School of Foreign Languages held the III Student Scientific Conference entitled "Bachelors' Readings: Section of German Language".

On March19, 2013 the Department of German Philology and Translation held the III Student Scientific Conference entitled "Bachelors' Readings: Section of German Language". The purpose of this event was to stimulate fourth-year students to intensify their work on Bachelor's papers and provide respective recommendations.

According to the schedule17 students' speeches were divided into 2 sections: "Morphology and Syntax. Problems of Communication" (Supervisor- Doctor of Philology, Full Professor L. Bezugla) ,"Problems of Text and Discourse" (Supervisor - Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor N. Onishchenko).

Eleven students presented their works. Main remarks on the reports: uneven structure of the report, unclear delineation of the material, object, subject and research methods.

The best reports were given by Tamara Chaukina, Kseniia Hlukhova, Mariia Martynenko and Maryna Shtanko. Results of the sections were reviewed at a round table discussion with students and at a department meeting.
