Congratulations on the professional holiday to all educators!
Teachers’ Day in Ukraine is celebrated on the first Sunday of October. This is a professional holiday of teachers, lecturers, educators.
On this day it would be nice if everyone took a moment to think about the role of teachers in development of society and to remember how his or her life was influenced and changed by a god teacher whom will be always remembered with respect and gratitude.
This year, on the occasion of
the Teachers’ Day, distinguished educators received state awards and prizes
from the President of Ukraine. Olena Butenko, senior lecturer of the Department
of German Philology and Translation of the School of Foreign Languages is one of
them. According to Order of the President of Ukraine No. 546/2013 as of October
4, 2013 she was awarded the honorary title “Merited Educator of Ukraine”.
Let us wholeheartedly congratulate Ms. Butenko and wish her success and wellbeing in life!
