  • since 1998 — associate professor, Department of German Philology and Translation, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Scholarly endeavor:

  • Areas of expertise: stylistics, text linguistics, folklore studies, didactics.
  • Has circa 60 scientific publications.
  • Advised 1 PhD student in German Linguistics.

Teaching activities:

  • Courses: “Practical Course of German Language” (for the 4th year students),“German Stylistics”, “Comparative Stylistics”, “Text Linguistics”.
  • Juror of the III-rd (2000 - 2003) the IV-th stage (2010–2012) of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in German Language.
  • Member of the 3rd (final) round of the All-Ukrainian competition "Teacher of the Year - 2018" in the nomination "German language" (2018).
  • Expert of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment.
  • Coach for conducting methodological trainings for pedagogical staff (2013 - till now).
  • Author and co-author of more than 130 education publications, including 20 textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

  • Certificate of merit from the Mayor of Kharkiv for a significant personal contribution to the development of cooperation between Kharkiv and Nuremberg (Germany) (2010).
  • Third Degree Award of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for excellence in work (2012).
  • Diploma of the 1st degree of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for winning the XVIII Exhibition Contest for Educational and Scientific Literature (2017).
