Karazin University held its annual contest of beauty and femininity.
On March 27, 2014, under the aegis of the Trade Union of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students, Karazin University held its traditional beauty pageant “Miss University 2014”.
Girls from 18 Schools of the University participated in the pageant displaying their artistic skills, talents and charm. For a few hours the spectators were utterly absorbed in the unforgettable spectacular world of dancing, singing and art of drawing.
The ceremony of awarding the winners was held by University President Vil Bakirov. “I am at a loss for words to describe this abyss of charm, incredible talent and spectacular energy. Thank you for your grace and stunning beauty. To tell the truth, I fell in love 18 times today, saw 18 talents and individualities. You are all winners,” said the President.
By the jury’s decision, the title of Miss University 2014 was awarded to Elina Safonova from the School of Sociology. The first runner-up became Olena Kosenko (School of Foreign Languages), the second runner-up — Dariia Tymoshenko (School of Economics).
Moreover, Olena Kosenko was awarded the title of Miss Delicacy.
The pageant winners received symbolic diadems and valuable presents and prizes from the sponsors of the event.
