Academic and Scientific Psychological Service

The Academic and Scientific Psychological Service working at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University provides support in all University activities counseling its faculty and staff and responding to all possible complications and problem situations as well as carries out work to correct crisis states, etc.

The Psychological Service is intended to ensure comprehensive individual development and psychological health of all participants of the educational process.

Among the services provided by the Psychological Service there are:

  • confidential individual consultations for students, faculty and staff;
  • first-year students adaptation trainings for groups up to 15-17 people;
  • confident behavior trainings for first-fifth-year students (groups up to 15 people);
  • practicum “Psychological Aspects of Successful Employment” (5 two-hour lessons) for third-fifth-year students (groups up to 15 people);
  • practicum “Time Management: Effective Personal Time Management” (5 two-hour lessons) for first-fifth-year students, faculty and staff of the University (groups up to 15 people);
  • practicum “Preventing and Overcoming Professional Burnout Syndrome” (8 two-hour lessons) for faculty and staff of the University (groups up to 15 people).

Pre-appointment for individual consultations, trainings and practicums is obligatory.

Individual consultations and training s are free of charge for students, faculty and staff of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
