Festive events "We Learn German" and "Beauty of France".
Within the scope of celebrating Days of German and French, the Department of German and French Languages of Karazin University initiated festive events “We Learn German” and “Beauty of France”.
The event “We Learn German” brought together students from the Schools of Biology, Medicine, Mechanics and Mathematics, Sociology, Philology, Law as well as the School of Foreign Languages and faculty members from the Department of German and French Languages. This year’s event was devoted to Austria, particularly to Australian German, and the rich cultural heritage of the country.
The event “Beauty of France” attracted University students who do not learn French as a professional discipline. The participants had a chance to enjoy amateur performances: hear French songs and poems, see dancing pieces. Another item of the agenda of celebrations to mark Day of the French language was an art exhibition displaying works of art executed in the genre of impressionism .
