The seminar aim was to share information on the standards of and modern tendencies in language testing.
On September 22, 2016 the faculty members of the Department of the English Language, namely the Head of the Department of the English Language, Olha Polotska, associate professors Iryna Tkalia, Hanna Husieva, Nataliia Stupnytska and senior lecturer Olha Matviichuk delivered a seminar on fair assessment in university classrooms for the Department faculty.
The aim of the seminar was to share the relevant information on the standards of and modern tendencies in language testing, which they had obtained during the seminar in Kyiv on September 10-13, 2016 held by Taras Shevchenko National University in cooperation with the European Association for Language Testing and Assessment and the All-Ukrainian Association for Language Testing and Assessment.
The seminar was followed by a discussion and exchange of ideas.
This experience is extremely useful for our University considering the need to introduce innovative technologies in the process of language assessment.
