International Scientific Conference on Professional Discourses

Karazin University held a conference entitled "Cognitive-Pragmatic Study of Professional Discourses".

On the initiative of the Department of Business Foreign Language and Translation of the School of Foreign Languages, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held the IV Scientific Conference with international participation "Cognitive-Pragmatic Study of Professional Discourses".

The conference brought together scholars from Kharkіv and Dnepropetrovsk; presented poster reports by scientists from Sumy, Cherkassy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Chernivtsi, colleagues from Belarus, Russia, and Armenia.

The conference addressed the actual problems of text and discourse, cognitive science, translation studies of both theoretical and practical importance to be used in lexicography, and in teaching languages and translation.
