We express our gratitude to our young scientists who, despite various difficulties, carried out extensive work and decently presented the results of their own research during the conference. This event is important not only for the School of Foreign Languages, but also for the entire V.N. Karazin university and the Ukrainian scientific environment in general.

​In January 2025, the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology of the School of Foreign Languages became part of a quadripartite agreement between three Ukrainian universities (V. N. Karazin National University Kharkiv, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Yuriy Fedkovych National University of Chernivtsi) and one German university - the Free University of Berlin - within the framework of the GIP (Germanic Institutional Partnership) programme.

School of Foreign Languages Faculty Participate in Training Modules within the International DigiFLEd Project

The School of Foreign Languages of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University has become actively involved in the new phase of the international DigiFLEd project “Modernization of university education programmes in foreign languages by integrating information technologies” (№101128713 – DigiFLEd – ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE). This phase of the project involves participation in modern educational and methodological modules developed by leading European partner universities: Tampere University (Finland), National University of Ireland Maynooth (Ireland), and the University of Western Macedonia (Greece).

On 21 November 2024, the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology of the School of Foreign Languages of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held the VI Ukrainian Student Scientific Conference ‘Romance Languages and Civilisation’. The organising committee was headed by Tetiana Cherkashyna, Doctor of Philology, Full Professor, Full Professor of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology of the School of Foreign Languages of V.
