Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of the School of Foreign Languages

The Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of the School of Foreign Languages (hereinafter referred to as the Scientific Society) is a self-government body for students, graduate students, doctoral students and young scientists of the School of Foreign Languages and is part of the public self-government system of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

The purpose of the Scientific Society is to realize the scientific, scientific, technical and scientific and organizational potential of students, graduate students, doctoral students and young scientists of the University, contributes to the development of domestic research and the implementation of the results of research activities in society.

The main activities of the Scientific Society are:

  • Promoting the exchange of information between young scientists and researchers. Providing students, graduate students, doctoral students and young scientists of the University with information for the successful implementation of scientific activities.
  • Promoting scientific activity among students, promoting the involvement of people studying in scientific work and innovation. Popularizing of science among residents of Kharkov and Kharkov region.
  • Promoting the quality of research.
  • Submission of candidates and submission of proposals by the Academic Council and the administration of the University, the Academic Council of the School to receive personal scholarships and awards, other types of rewards for those who study and / or work at the University and demonstrate good results in the field of research, implementation of scientific developments, popularization science and scientific activity and the like.
  • Representation of interests of students, post-graduate students, doctoral students and young scientists of the faculty before the administration of the University, as well as in relations with state bodies and local governments, entrepreneurial and entrepreneurial societies, including foreign states.
  • Promoting the development of interuniversity and international cooperation.
  • Interaction with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and national branch academies of sciences, scientific and research institutions.
