Professional Career:

1978-1981 - senior laboratory assistant, English teacher at the Department of English at KhSU;

1981-1983 - English translator at the Representative Office of Vajpromexport in Bokaro (India)

1983-1995 - lecturer of English at the Department of English at KhSU;

since 1995 - senior lecturer of English (from 01.10.2022 -Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes)

Field of scientific interests:

Methods of teaching English at non-specialized faculties, theory and methods of professional education. CLIL.

N.I.Cherkashyna teaches courses:

"English for ecologists", "Business English", "English by profession" for students of Ecology and the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism.
