The educational process is organized to meet the Bologna process requirements. All the disciplines comply with the standard curriculum of the English, German, French languages for professional communication recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, European recommendations for language education and the national qualifying levels, which provides the necessary prerequisites for ensuring high qualification of the graduates due to their mastery of the main foreign language on the level corresponding to В2+ (Intermediate) for Bachelors and to С1 (Upper-Intermediate) for Masters.

A course of training is divided into modules (typically 2-3 modules per semester), which approaches the educational process organization to the European practice. Control is performed on the module-ranking principle both orally and in writing when knowledge is assessed not only in terms of the acquisition by students of the active material but also in terms of their mastery of language skills and abilities required for a language competence sufficient to efficiently and adequately communicate on different topics.

Students of the Department are provided with textbooks and educational supplies in the majority of disciplines. Many textbooks and methodological aids are developed and practically tested by faculty members of the Department, who constantly improve teaching efficiency though taking into account the needs of a particular category of students when creating and using educational materials. The majority of educational and methodological complexes (syllabi, methodological materials for seminars and laboratory lessons, tasks for written tests and examinations) are available both in hard copy and in a digital form enabling lecturers to optimize their work with them.
